Kia-Ora ! This is the Home Page of Tapawera Settle, a friendly family run campground situated in Tapawera village with its supermarket, garage, café, restaurant and pub. Our park is adjacent to the Kahurangi national park and beside the Motueka river for safe swimming, trout fishing, kayaking, river walks and complete relaxation. Abel Tasman is around 50 minutes north, and the stunning Nelson Lakes is 40 minutes south. Tapawera is located 45 minutes south west of Nelson and around a 5 hour drive from Christchurch, so a perfect stop-over if you are heading to Golden Bay.  We provide services and accommodation for those seeking historic Kahurangi gold mining trails including the Wangapeka Track, and those after the best trout fishing in New Zealand, and also those just looking to explore this beautiful area and sunny climate. Combined with warm southern hospitality we offer above average quality at below average prices.
